  6. SLEEP Abstracts Supplement #2 - 2000 includes all Abstracts published in  
  7. the special Supplement #2, Volume 23 of The Journal of Sleep and Sleep 
  8. Disorders Research.  These abstracts have been reproduced on this CD in
  9. the Adobe(R) Acrobat(R) Portable Document Format (PDF) file format, which 
  10. requires the use of the Adobe Acrobat Reader software.

  12. The Adobe Acrobat Reader software (version 4.0) is included on this CD. 
  13. You must use version 4 or higher of the Acrobat reader to view this CD.
  14. The software must be installed on your computer in order to view the files.
  15.  
  16. These files require the use of version 4 of the Acrobat software. If you are
  17. running a previous version, you should run the install from this CD to upgrade
  18. your reader. This CD includes, in the ACROREAD directory, Acrobat Reader 4.0 
  19. for PC and Mac operating systems. For PC, open the folder and double click on 
  20. the rs405eng.exe file. Follow the instructions to install the reader. For Mac,
  21. choose either file and follow the instructions. All Acrobat Readers may also 
  22. be downloaded free from Adobe's website: www.adobe.com

  24. Note: other versions of the Adobe Acrobat Reader software may not support the 
  25.       full text search capabilities built into the document files.

  27. Once the version 4 Acrobat reader is installed on your system, the abstracts
  28. may be viewed by launching Acrobat Reader, under "file" select "Open", and
  29. opening the "Abstract.pdf" file on the CD.

  31. On the left side of the Abstract.pdf display you will find bookmarks which may
  32. be clicked to take you to individual abstracts. These bookmarks are arranged 
  33. by abstract title and by author's name. Expand and contract the categories by
  34. clicking on the "+" or "-" next to the category.

  36. A search may be done by using Acrobat's search function. See the "Help" file
  37. for more information about conducting a search.
